First Baptist Chico participates in Lenten series

Reverend Ted Sandberg, pastor of First Baptist Church, Chico, preached the message at the Chico Interfaith Community Lenten meeting Wed., Feb. 27, 2013 at Faith Lutheran Church. Each week another church leader preaches and that congregation brings the soup to feed the participants for the evening. Last week Ted Sandberg spoke, so members of First Baptist Church, Chico brought a variety of soups to share with community members across Chico. Next week, another church will host the evening's meal, and preach the message, from another participating church. All this Lenten Series is being housed at Faith Lutheran Church.
